Wreckage of suspected drone found in field in Romania: what is known

Debris from an object, likely a drone, was found in an agricultural field in Romania. After it crashed on the island of Veliki Braila, a fire broke out, which later went out.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Defense of Romania.

Law enforcement was notified of the falling object at night via the 112 service. The incident occurred in Breila County.

According to the Ministry of Defense, no one was injured as a result of the fall, and there was no material damage. The discovered debris is currently being investigated by law enforcement officers.

At the same time, the radar systems of the Romanian Ministry of National Defense did not record any unauthorized intrusion into the country’s airspace during the night.

Recall, in Moldova, near the border with Ukraine, the site of an explosion of an unknown object was discovered . On the outskirts of the village of Krokmaz, burnt earth and fragments of metal and plastic were found. What exactly exploded is currently being investigated.
