The State Duma of the aggressor country of Russia has approved a law that introduces year-round conscription for military service.

As reported by Nastoyashchee Vremya, from now on, recruitment into the Russian army will be carried out without interruption – throughout the entire calendar year.

Previously, conscription in Russia was held twice a year: in the spring (from April 1 to July 15) and in the fall (from October 1 to December 31). The adopted law completely abolishes this division.

The document also defines new rules for reporting for summons: a conscript must report to the military registration and enlistment office no later than 30 days from the date the summons is posted in the electronic registry. Those who ignore this deadline will automatically be considered draft evaders, after which they will be put on the wanted list.

The authors of the bill — the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andriy Kartapolov, and his first deputy, Andriy Krasov — claim that such a system will allow “to evenly distribute the load on conscription points and improve the quality of recruitment.”

According to the publication, during the current autumn draft, Russia plans to send about 135,000 men aged 18 to 30 to serve – this is the largest figure in the last nine years.

As a reminder, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the autumn conscription of Russians aged 18 to 30 for military service.

As reported, Russia has begun transferring military personnel from one direction to another, indicating problems with the number of personnel.
