“Yermak must resign” – a rebellion is brewing among the “Servants of the People”

Fedir Venislavsky, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People faction and former representative of the president in the Verkhovna Rada and the Constitutional Court, believes that the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak, should be fired.

According to him, there are many discussions in the faction regarding Yermak’s resignation, however, the final decision remains with Zelensky.

“I did not demand the resignation of Andriy Yermak from the president, but I believe that the resignation of Mr. Yermak in this case would definitely dampen this certain excitement around the government (this refers to the Verkhovna Rada vote on the resignation of ministers – ed.), because it is no secret that the government was formed mostly after certain candidates were approved in the President’s Office: whether it was the president or whether it was joint decision-making, I cannot say because I do not have such information,” Venislavsky said.

As he explained, the discussion of Yermak’s resignation was led by information from MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak about the involvement of the head of the President’s Office in the “Mindich tapes”, where he allegedly appears with the code name “Ali Baba”.

It was previously reported that the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, also appears on the “Mindich tapes” released by NABU as part of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector.

By the way, Andriy Yermak stated that certain political forces are trying to use the high-profile investigation into corruption in the energy sector to discredit the Ukrainian authorities.
