Yevhen Konovalets’ ashes were transported to Ukraine for reburial
The ashes of Colonel Yevhen Konovalets have been transported to Ukraine. He will be reburied at the National War Memorial Cemetery.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the President’s Office Iryna Vereshchuk.
According to her, Konovalets’ ashes were met on his native land with state and military honors.
Before the reburial, a farewell ceremony for the colonel will be held in Kyiv. It will take place at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the UGCC.
After the ceremony, Yevhen Konovalets’ ashes will be reburied at the National War Memorial Cemetery.
