Yuriy Lutsenko on the murder of Andriy Parubiy: he was hit by the Kremlin’s bullet

This was stated by politician and public figure Yuriy Lutsenko on the air of the “Pryamiy” TV channel.

“He is a modest, intelligent, energetic, but indomitable grandson of his grandfather, who was a machine gunner in the Ukrainian Galician Army and died in the battles for Lviv in 1918. He is the nephew of two of his uncles, who were fighters in the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. This is actually the family history that determined who Andriy Parubiy became. Since childhood, he underwent physical training in the Carpathians, because he was absolutely sure that the time would come to fight for an independent Ukraine,” the politician noted.

Lutsenko recalled that Andriy Parubiy was an active participant in both Maidans, was the commandant of these Maidans, and during the full-scale invasion, he joined the 206th Terroir Defense Battalion.

“During the second Maidan (Revolution of Dignity – ed.), Andriy not only became the commandant of Maidan again, but he became the head of the Maidan Self-Defense. In fact, the source from which the entire volunteer movement later emerged. Dobrobaty is the Maidan Self-Defense. Therefore, on all fronts, wherever someone is thrown, you will see those people who believe that it was Andriy Parubiy who charged them with his energy of fighting for an independent state,” Lutsenko said.

“He never lied, never engaged in political intrigues, and knew the main goal in his life – an independent Ukrainian state,” he assured.

“The greatest pleasure I saw in him was the adoption of the law on the Ukrainian language. He considered this the pinnacle of his achievements and sincerely until his last days began the list of what he had accomplished during his life with this,” Lutsenko noted.

“This is the whole essence of our Andriy, who was hit by a Kremlin bullet today. Pay attention, nothing has changed – they are being stabbed in the back. The lists of the Kremlin’s enemies, which means the lists of the most loyal sons of Ukraine, are not burning in the Kremlin, and they are still acting using the same methods as they acted against all our leaders for all three hundred years of the Russian Empire,” the politician emphasized.

Lutsenko hopes that law enforcement agencies will do their job and be able to detain the criminal: “I would really like us to see the killer and find out the source from him. This would be very important for preventing similar terrorist acts in the future.”

Later, journalists reported that MP Andriy Parubiy was shot 8 times by a man disguised as a courier.
