Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a 20-point plan for ending the war is approximately 90% complete, but Kyiv has not received an official response from Russia to these proposals.
The head of state stated this while speaking to journalists.
According to Zelenskyy, work on the document is ongoing, and the Ukrainian side’s goal is to bring it to full readiness. At the same time, he acknowledged that achieving 100% readiness immediately is extremely difficult.
The President emphasized that Ukraine is not conducting direct negotiations with Russia on this plan, and that communication is taking place through the United States, which in turn is in contact with the Russian side.
Zelenskyy also commented on the Kremlin’s claims that the Ukrainian army’s 800,000-strong force is unacceptable. He emphasized that such an army is the key guarantee of Ukraine’s security and noted that the United States understands Kyiv’s position.
