US President Donald Trump said he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the G7 summit today, June 16. According to the head of the White House, the talks should begin within a few hours.
This is reported by the Telegram channel STERNENKO.
According to the publication, Trump is scheduled to meet with Zelensky today. He noted that their previous conversation “went well.”
Trump also said that Russia should agree to the agreement.
“Russia must make a deal,” he said.
In particular, the US president emphasized that both Russia and Ukraine are suffering significant losses in the war.
Trump also reiterated that he previously considered Russia’s war against Ukraine one of the easiest conflicts to resolve. At the same time, he said, there is “great animosity” between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.
