Zelensky announced new successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front

The Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated 300 square kilometers of territory as a result of counteroffensive and assault operations.

This was reported by France 24 with reference to an interview with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I won’t go into details, but today I can congratulate first of all our army – all the defense forces – because to date 300 kilometers have been liberated,” the head of state said.

The President did not specify the period during which these events took place and on which sections of the front the Ukrainian military achieved success.

On the eve, military bloggers suggested that the sudden advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may be due to disruptions in the operation of Starlink satellite communication terminals, which were actively used by Russian units. The Russian authorities also restricted the operation of the Telegram messenger, which is used by the occupation forces.

Zelensky noted that Ukraine is using the situation with satellite communications to its advantage. He acknowledged that Ukrainian units also faced temporary difficulties, but the problems of the Russian side turned out to be much more serious.

It was previously reported that the information about the alleged encirclement of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in Rodynske in the Donetsk region is not true.

As a reminder, on February 20, the Russian occupation army made territorial advances in three settlements in the Donetsk region .
