President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters to discuss the capabilities and objectives of long-range strikes against the Russian Federation.
The head of state announced this on his social media.
According to Zelenskyy, representatives of arms manufacturers and all those responsible for the use of weapons participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the effectiveness of the long-range strikes already conducted and the results achieved were analyzed.
The President noted that the consequences include a significant blow to Russia’s oil refining infrastructure, which is “paying the price for the war.” The meeting also outlined objectives for expanding the geographic scope of long-range strikes.
Zelenskyy also announced his work with arms manufacturers on long-term contracts: “A three-year term allows the manufacturer to better plan the use of necessary resources and scale up deliveries to the troops.” He stated that the number of such contracts will be increased.
As a reminder, on the night of October 22 , the Defense Forces attacked a number of strategic facilities in Russian regions, specifically, the Saransk Mechanical Plant and the Makhachkala Oil Refinery.
As reported, on Sunday, October 19, the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery, located in the Samara region, halted operations as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones.
