Zelensky appointed 16 new ambassadors: who received the positions

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after a meeting with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, appointed 16 new ambassadors.
He reported this on his Telegram channel.
“After the reports of the military and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, this morning I held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Office team. We finalized the long process of selecting candidates for appointment as ambassadors of Ukraine. I appointed 16 ambassadors,” Zelenskyy said.
He also added that each new ambassador was given tasks and evaluation criteria.
Diplomatic positions were awarded to:
- Spain — Yulia Sokolovska
- Canada — Andriy Plahotniuk
- Belgium — Yaroslav Melnyk
- Estonia — Volodymyr Boyechka
- UAE and Representative of Ukraine to the International Renewable Energy Agency — Oleksandr Balanutsa
- Bosnia and Herzegovina — Volodymyr Bachynskyi
- Mexico — Sergey Pogoreltsev
- Japan — Yuri Lutovinov
- Kenya, UNEP and UN-Habitat — Yuriy Tokar
- Kuwait — Maxim Subh
- Oman — Olga Selikh
- Cyprus — Sergei Nizhinsky
- Malaysia — Gennady Nadolenko
- Angola — Andriy Kasyanov
- South Africa — Oleksandr Shcherba
It was previously reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to replace ambassadors in G20 countries, including the United States .
