President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova will become his advisor on state restoration and investment.

He announced this on social media.

The head of state noted that Ukraine has a long-term goal of ensuring recovery from the fighting and the resumption of normal economic development. According to him, this is a shared goal for the government, state institutions, and Ukrainian businesses.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Markarova will continue to be part of the team, and her new responsibilities will include consultations on improving the business climate, strengthening Ukraine’s financial stability, attracting investment, and joint recovery planning with international partners.

Servant of the People previously claimed that Markarova allegedly declined to head the Presidential Office in place of Andriy Yermak. However, the diplomat herself denied ever receiving such an offer.

As a reminder, yesterday , during a telephone conversation with Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the issue of replacing the current Ukrainian ambassador to Washington, Oksana Markarova .

It was previously reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to replace Oksana Markarova as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, but suggested that she remain on the presidential team in a different role .
