Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed on June 10 that Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo drones had struck a military plant in Cheboksary, which supplies the Russian army with components for missiles and drones.
The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel.
“We continue to apply Ukrainian long-range sanctions against Russian military facilities and the oil industry. In particular, this night Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingos hit a military plant in Cheboksary, which provides the occupying army with components for drones and missiles. Thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the accuracy!” Zelenskyy noted.
In addition, last night the Kuibyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation, which is located more than 900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, was hit.
The President also expressed special gratitude to the servicemen of the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Zelenskyy stressed that the Security Service of Ukraine also struck two oil infrastructure facilities in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation, which are located approximately 700 kilometers from Ukraine.
Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that the Russian army lost the ability to use the Mariupol seaport after a large-scale operation by Ukrainian forces.
