Zelensky discussed with corps commanders: details

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting with corps commanders defending the hottest sections of the front.

The head of state announced this on Telegram.

Together with Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavel Palisa, he spoke with the commanders of six army and airborne assault corps: Dmitry Voloshin, Artem Bogomolov, Alexey Maistrenko, Yevgeny Lasiychuk, Svyatoslav Zayets, and Yaroslav Sidorov.

During the meeting, the situation in the Slavyansk, Pokrovsk, Aleksandrovsk, Kharkiv, and other areas was discussed, as well as the provision of troops with weapons, the conduct of rotations, the protection of Ukrainian logistics, and the defeat of enemy logistics.

According to Zelenskyy, the Defense Forces need to increase supplies of long-range artillery and 155mm ammunition. He also cited increasing the number of ground-based robotic systems and developing medium-range strike capabilities as a separate priority.

The President also reported that the commanders presented specific technical and organizational proposals to strengthen defense. Specifically, he noted Brigadier General Dmitry Voloshin’s initiatives to scale up successful solutions at the corps level, General Alexei Maistrenko’s report on addressing technical issues, and General Yaroslav Sidorov’s proposals to improve troop support.
