President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the implementation of the National Security and Defense Council decision on sanctions against the Russian military-industrial complex, in particular, against manufacturers of attack drones using artificial intelligence and their foreign suppliers.

The press service of the head of state reported this.

Sanctions have been applied against 39 individuals and 55 companies, including 43 Russian, 10 Chinese and two Belarusian. The list includes key drone manufacturers Zala Aero, Smart Birds, KB Vostok, as well as suppliers of electronic components from China and Belarus. Restrictions have also been imposed on centers engaged in the development of artificial intelligence for unmanned systems, in particular, Neurolab and the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies.

Ukraine emphasized that work is currently underway with international partners to synchronize these sanctions in global jurisdictions.

By a separate decree, Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on amendments to the Regulation on the State Register of Sanctions in terms of ships and aircraft.

Let us recall that the European Union is preparing to introduce sanctions against China due to its role in supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine.

Donald Trump is reported to be using the topic of sanctions in his conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
