Zelensky made a statement about Budanov’s priorities as head of the OP

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the priorities of the new head of the Public Security Bureau, Kyrylo Budanov, will not concern information policy.

When asked by journalists, Zelenskyy replied that Budanov would not influence the information sphere in Ukraine.

“I discussed with Kirill Budanov the priorities that are important to me, and information policy is not among them,” Zelenskyy said.

As a reminder, in early January , Zelensky met with Kirill Budanov and offered him the position of head of the Presidential Office . On the same day, Budanov accepted the offer to become head of the Office of the President.
