Zelensky reported on Russia’s plans to mobilize tens of thousands of people

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is preparing additional mobilization to increase the occupation group in Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian side is receiving more and more internal information about the preparation of a new wave of mobilization in the Russian Federation.

The President noted that the Kremlin wants to compensate for the large losses of the Russian army in the occupied territories of Ukraine and increase the number of troops by at least tens of thousands of people.

Also, according to Zelensky, the Russian authorities have intensified the issuance of so-called mobilization orders.

“We consider these Russian steps to be confirmation that Moscow is not preparing for real diplomacy,” the president said.

He added that Ukraine will provide its partners with all available data on Russia’s plans.

As previously reported, Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky stated that the next six months could be a turning point in the war against Russia.

Recall that Russia is considering several scenarios for new offensive operations in the Chernihiv-Kyiv direction, which may begin no earlier than the fall of 2026. To this end, the Kremlin plans to conduct a new wave of mobilization of 100 thousand people.
