Zelensky: Russia attacked Ukraine with over 50 missiles and about 500 drones

Last night, Russia launched more than 50 missiles and approximately 500 attack drones at Ukraine. Five people were killed, and 10 are reported injured.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.

“Tonight, Ukraine was again under Russian combined attack – more than 50 missiles and around 500 attack drones. They were hit with cruise missiles, Shahed missiles, and even Kinzhal missiles,” the president said.

According to him, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odessa, and Kirovohrad regions were under attack.

“At this time, we know of approximately 10 casualties from the attack. Unfortunately, five were killed. Our sincere condolences to all who lost loved ones to this terror,” Zelenskyy added.

Rescue and restoration work is currently ongoing at the locations where it is needed.

“I regularly receive reports from Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba, heads of regional military administrations, and Naftogaz CEO Serhiy Koretsky. I expect officials to work as quickly and efficiently as possible to address the consequences in the affected regions,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

The President emphasized that the Russians were targeting infrastructure that supports people’s lives and called on partners to provide greater protection.

As a reminder, Russian infidels launched a massive attack on the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the night of October 5 , hitting critical infrastructure facilities.

Furthermore, on the night of October 5 , Russian infidels launched a combined attack on Lviv . As a result, the enemy-held part of the city was left without power, and the Sparrow Industrial Park is burning.

Also in the village of Lapaivka in the Lviv region, a family of four was killed as a result of Russian shelling , including a 15-year-old girl.

The Russians also attacked an industrial facility in the Vinnytsia region .
