President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the bill adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on restoring the independence of NABU and SAP.

The president announced this on his Facebook page.

“I would like to thank all parliamentarians for adopting my bill – now a law. As soon as I sign the document, the text will be immediately published,” Zelensky wrote.

According to him, these are guarantees of normal independent work of anti-corruption agencies and all law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

“The decision is correct. Three hundred and thirty-one deputies. Exactly as it should be – as a basis and in general. It is very important that the state listens to public opinion. Ukraine is a democracy – there is absolutely no doubt,” the president added.

According to him, officials will immediately inform Ukraine’s partners about this law.
