Zelensky signed laws on extending martial law and mobilization
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws extending martial law and general mobilization.
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada reported this.
According to the documents, martial law has been extended from 05:30 AM on August 7, 2025 for another 90 days – until the beginning of November. General mobilization has also been extended for the same period.
The statement notes that the adoption of these decisions is due to Russia’s ongoing armed aggression against Ukraine. The bills were supported by the Verkhovna Rada earlier in July.
