Zelensky signs new sanctions against Russia

On July 6, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a new sanctions package against Russian citizens and companies.

Zelensky reported this on his Telegram channel;

The sanctions will hit Russia’s financial schemes, including cryptocurrency ones, and will be synchronized with partners. The sanctions affected 60 legal entities and 73 individuals.

Zelensky said this should limit the capabilities of the Russian military industry and force Russia to end the war. Next week, new decisions are being prepared to synchronize Ukrainian sanctions with EU sanctions.

Let us recall that French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot expressed hope that the European Commission will present the 18th package of sanctions against Russia by the end of June.

By the way, the European Union is considering the possibility of disconnecting more than 20 Russian banks from the international SWIFT system as part of a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.

Earlier it became known that the 18th package of sanctions from the EU will include companies from China, the UAE and Hong Kong .
