Due to weather conditions that favor attacks by Russian occupiers, the situation on the front in the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions has become more complicated.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.
According to him, the enemy has increased the number of assaults in the Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region, as well as in Zaporizhia.
“But we continue to destroy the occupier. And I thank each of our units, each soldier, who are involved in protecting Ukrainian positions,” Zelenskyy noted.
He also commented on the course of events in the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region: the Defense Forces have achieved certain results there. The President added that this is a “trend of several weeks.”
“We discussed with the Commander-in-Chief the preparation of our deep strikes – specific directions and expected results. Ukrainian long-range sanctions should be in effect every day, and this is being achieved,” Zelensky noted.
We would like to remind you that in recent days the situation on the southern front has significantly deteriorated, as a result of which the Ukrainian military was forced to retreat from a number of settlements .
As is known, Russian occupation forces, taking advantage of adverse weather conditions, are trying to penetrate Pokrovsk using light equipment.
