Zelensky’s PR man Petrov tried to create separatist projects 10 years ago – journalist Krutchak

He noted that no one has reported Petrov to be suspected of treason so far. Criminal proceedings have been registered against him.

“Under the current circumstances, it is unlikely that anyone will suspect him. … I have known Petrov for many years, I have worked with him for many years,” Krutchak explained.

He recalled that Dmytro Korchinsky called Petrov a “pro-Ukrainian propagandist” for at least the past 10 years.

“Why did Korchinsky step in? There is an explanation for this. Let me assume that it may be because he and Petrov have been drinking from the same watering hole for the past few years. This was the reason.

“After Yermak’s release, something may have changed, but I don’t think so. Well, either Korchinsky, seeing that a criminal case was registered against Petrov, was scared that he could theoretically be next. What can be remembered is his handshake with Dugin, the promotion of certain joint projects. Or Ilya Kiva, whom he essentially raised,” Krutchak said.

“Petrov and the pro-Ukrainian position have nothing in common. I was with him from the very beginning of the full-scale war, saw how he behaved, understood what he was talking about. In short, he’s still a jackass,” the journalist said.

Krutchak recalled an event that took place in 2016 or 2017. Petrov invited him to a meeting with the owner of the Facebook community “Typichny Kyiv” Viktor Opanasenko and during the meeting suggested that they promote publics in at least all regional centers of Ukraine. The latter asked Petrov about the goal.

“Petrov says: ‘The main point is to make it clear to the people of those regional centers that they are first and foremost representatives of these cities. That is, they are Kharkiv residents, and only then Ukrainians,’” Krutchak recounted.

Opanasenko did not accept this proposal and “froze” himself from this project. Petrov told him that this was “good separatism.”
