Zelenskyy and Trump’s meeting: the president named the approximate dates and main topic

Ukraine expects to receive a concrete result from the United States on the issue of supplying anti-ballistic missiles. Kyiv has already provided the American side with detailed information about the necessary interceptors and the timing of their delivery.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in a conversation with journalists, Censor.NET reports.
According to the president, information about Ukraine’s needs was received by representatives of US President Donald Trump – Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Zelensky expects to personally discuss countering Russian ballistic missiles with Trump during a meeting on September 20th.
“I am counting on a meeting with President Trump on the 20th. Raising this topic – countering ballistics. And, God willing, there will be a result,” the head of state said.
The President also announced that Ukraine and the United States are moving towards a trilateral format of cooperation on this issue. However, he did not disclose the details of future agreements.
“I cannot disclose all the details here. We agreed with the American side that let’s prepare all this among ourselves, and then communicate with society,” Zelenskyy noted.
Recall that US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner presented updated peace proposals during a visit to Kyiv . However, several hours of talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not bring a breakthrough.
As reported, Russia may intensify attacks on Ukrainian energy systems as the cold weather approaches. The GUR already has information about targets, means of destruction, and the approximate time of possible attacks.
