President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is working with the United States and European partners on additional solutions to strengthen air defense. The priority of international work remains the supply of air defense systems and missiles.

The head of state stated this following the report of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Pavlo Palisa.

According to Zelensky, Pavlo Palisa reported on communication with international partners regarding the implementation of certain agreements related to strengthening Ukrainian air defense.

The President noted that Ukraine has the opportunity to implement additional steps in cooperation between the United States and European countries. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukrainian diplomats must ensure the most effective interaction between the militaries of the respective states.

“Missiles and air defense systems for Ukraine are the first priority of international work,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

In addition, the president announced the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters to increase funding for combat units. As early as July, combat battalions, artillery units, and corps-level units performing combat missions will receive additional funds.
