Zelenskyy announced Russia’s new offensive plans and the threat to NATO

Ukraine has received documents from the Russian General Staff confirming Russia’s new offensive plans, expanded mobilization, and preparation of operations against NATO countries.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a report by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Oleg Ivashchenko.

According to the president, the documents show that even the occupiers themselves admit their inability to fulfill the tasks set before them by the Russian political leadership.

At the same time, despite heavy losses, the Kremlin is not giving up on further offensive actions.

Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to destroy the offensive potential of the Russian army, and the level of irretrievable losses of the occupiers is already approaching 60% of the total losses.

Despite this, the Russian leadership is planning new offensive operations and wants to attract more personnel, in particular through the expansion of mobilization processes within Russia itself.

The President emphasized that Ukraine’s task now is to increase the enemy’s irreversible losses, strengthen the work of drones on the front line, and scale up long-range strikes on Russian weapons production and the oil industry.

Separately, Ukraine plans to inform international partners about further development in Moscow of plans for operations against NATO countries.

Also, according to Zelensky, Russia is trying to further involve Belarus in the implementation of its military tasks.

It was previously reported that in 2026, Russia plans to recruit at least 18,500 foreigners to its occupation army. The main focus is on migrants and citizens of Central Asian countries.

As a reminder, Ukraine is actively strengthening its northern direction, building a large-scale defensive line that will stretch from the Kyiv Reservoir all the way to Sumy. The main goal is to prevent a new offensive from Russia.
