Zelenskyy announced the creation of the Energy Coalition: when will the first meeting take place and what will be discussed

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of the Energy Coalition, a meeting of which will be held in the coming days.
He said this during a meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Wiel, Interfax-Ukraine reports .
The decision to organize a coalition to support Ukraine’s energy sector was made after Russia’s massive attacks on the energy system, logistics, water supply, and gas supply.
Ukraine has already been supported by the Netherlands, Norway, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
According to Zelensky, the first meeting within the coalition will be held online. The partners will discuss the challenges of Russian strikes and assistance to Ukraine.
David van Wiel assured that the Dutch Prime Minister will join the coalition to help Ukraine get through the upcoming winter.
“We are partners here, we will be with you until the very end and we want to make sure that Ukrainians are in the best position to find the achievement of a just and lasting peace,” he added.
As is known, Russia continues to purposefully attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure , trying to make parts of the country uninhabitable. The Kremlin’s goal is to destroy energy networks, cause a humanitarian crisis, and provoke mass emigration.
It was previously reported that Russia has revised its tactics for shelling Ukrainian energy infrastructure and is now not trying to destroy the system all at once, but rather seeks to gradually disable it.
