President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed a new head of Ukraine’s mission to NATO.
The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the Head of State.
By another decree No. 407/2025, the president dismissed Natalya Halibarenko from this position.
Alyona Getmanchuk is the founder and director of the New Europe Center, a freelance senior analyst at the Eurasian Center of the Atlantic Council (USA). She is an experienced foreign policy expert and a leader of media and public projects.
In 2009, she co-founded the Institute of World Politics, which she headed for 8 years. Since 2016, Alena has been a member of the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees appointing former Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin as Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
As reported, the United States has appointed Lieutenant General Alexus Hrynkevich as the new Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander of the United States European Command.
