Zelenskyy appointed Roman Marchuk Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Roman Marchuk as Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

The corresponding document was published on the website of the head of state.

“To appoint Roman Mykolayovych Marchuk as Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine,” the presidential decree states.

It is worth recalling that on October 2, 2024, Zelensky signed Decree No. 679/2024 , by which he dismissed Oleg Lugovsky from the position of Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, and by Decree No. 681/2024, appointed him First Deputy Head of the agency.

Also, by decree No. 680/2024, Oleg Sinaiko was dismissed from the position of Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. By decree No. 682/2024, Gennady Bogach was appointed Deputy Head of the agency. 

Earlier, the SVR stated that Russia plans to produce up to two million FPV drones by 2025. In addition, the Russian Federation wants to produce 30,000 long-range drones and another 30,000 decoy drones.
