Zelenskyy arrived in Poland for talks with Tusk

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Lublin, Poland, where he is holding talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

According to presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov, the main topics of the meeting were relations between Ukraine and Poland, cases of aggression against Ukrainians, defense cooperation, and coordination of actions with European partners after Zelenskyy’s recent visit to the United States.

The Polish Prime Minister’s office added that Tusk and Zelensky will also discuss the results of the Ukrainian president’s talks with Donald Trump. In addition, they will discuss further cooperation between Kyiv and Warsaw, particularly in the security sector, as well as historical issues.

Polish media point out that this is the first meeting between Zelensky and Tusk on Polish territory after discussions over historical topics escalated between the countries.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy last visited Poland in December 2025.
