Zelenskyy imposed new sanctions on the National Security and Defense Council: Boryslav Bereza was added to the list.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has introduced new sanctions packages for the National Security and Defense Council. Among those included in the sanctions list is Ukrainian citizen Boryslav Bereza.

The relevant decrees were published on the website of the Office of the President.

The first package of sanctions covers 30 legal entities and 42 individuals, according to authorities, involved in the supply of equipment to Russian military-industrial complex enterprises producing missile components, as well as Russian propagandists.

The restrictions specifically targeted the Burevestnik center, which is involved in the production of mortar systems and Malva 152mm self-propelled artillery units, as well as the KAM-Engineering company, which carries out final testing of combat aircraft components and individual missile systems for the Russian Federation.

The second package of sanctions affects 15 individuals and eight legal entities that Ukraine considers involved in supporting Russian aggression, spreading Kremlin propaganda, distorting facts, and engaging in illegal activities in the temporarily occupied territories.

Those sanctioned include military blogger Vladimir Romanov, former Russian military pilot and administrator of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber Ilya Tumanov, and Moscow City Duma deputy and former synchronized swimmer Maria Kiseleva.

Ukrainian citizen Boryslav Bereza was also added to the sanctions list. The personal information disclosed in the decree matches that of a former member of parliament and spokesperson for the Right Sector party.
