Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined key “red lines” ahead of his meeting with US President Donald Trump. These include territorial issues, the status of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

The head of state announced this while answering journalists’ questions, reports “ Obshchestvennoye ”.

Zelenskyy emphasized that any steps are only possible with reliable and effective security guarantees. He also emphasized that elections or referendums cannot be considered under the current war conditions.

“If we take any steps, it’s important that security guarantees are strong and that we are protected. Holding elections or referendums under the current conditions is impossible,” the president stated.

According to the publication, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already departed for Florida to meet with Donald Trump. Before that, he will visit Canada, where he is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Mark Carney and online meetings with European leaders on sensitive issues of the war-ending plan.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an upcoming meeting with former US President Donald Trump in the near future.

As a reminder, US President Donald Trump is convinced that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not seek peace and ultimately intends to seize all of Ukraine.

As reported, the Kremlin does not consider the negotiations between the Russian and American sides in Miami a breakthrough and calls them a routine work process.
