Zelenskyy promised a long-range response to Russia’s strike on Kyiv

Ukraine will respond “fairly and with long-range” to the massive night strike by Russian troops on Kyiv and Kyiv region. President Volodymyr Zelensky also announced the strengthening of Ukraine’s long-range capabilities.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening address.

“We will definitely respond to this Russian strike in the same way as to other Russian strikes – we will respond quite fairly and far-reachingly,” Zelenskyy stressed.

The President also stated that Ukraine will continue to increase its capabilities to deliver long-range strikes.

According to him, Ukrainian long-range missiles will receive even more resources.

It was previously reported that on the night of August 20, Russian troops attacked an oil depot of the KLO gas station chain in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, August 20, Russian occupation forces launched a massive strike on Kyiv , using strike drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. The attack left at least eight people dead and 33 others injured. The Sviatoshynskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Darnytskyi districts of the capital suffered the greatest destruction.
