Zelenskyy revealed details of upcoming conversation with Trump

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during a meeting with US leader Donald Trump, he will discuss a defense package that Ukraine is ready to purchase.
He said this during a press conference with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen.
“We are not talking with America today about new aid. Indeed, one of the issues that I will discuss with President Trump at the meeting is the defense package that Ukraine is ready to buy, we will discuss it with him,” the president explained.
Zelensky also noted that the United States significantly supported Ukraine when European production was at a “low level” in terms of timing and capabilities.
He emphasized that without American assistance it would have been very difficult.
“So far, no one wants to imagine how to live and fight for life without the help of the United States,” the president noted, adding that at the moment we are only talking about the assistance agreed upon over the past years.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump are preparing to meet on the sidelines of the G7 summit , which is underway in the Canadian town of Kananaskis. It is expected that the dialogue between the leaders will take place in the format of a bilateral meeting outside the official part of the forum.
