Zelenskyy set a task for protection against UAVs in the south

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to build a system of protection against enemy drones along the line between Kherson and Zaporizhia.

Zelenskyy announced this on the Telegram channel following a special selector on the situation in the regions.

According to Zelensky, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received relevant tasks. This involves strengthening countermeasures against drones in the southern direction.

The President noted that the Stavka made decisions on this issue last year, but they were not fully implemented. In this regard, Zelensky instructed to conduct a review of implementation and prepare additional response measures.

It was previously reported that the Russian occupiers shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with multiple rocket launchers. The enemy also hit a minibus.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during a conversation with the media, identified three key tasks for the new Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov.
