Zelenskyy signed a decree suspending Kravchenko from office

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has suspended Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General. The reasons for the decision are not specified in the document.
This is stated in Decree No. 905/2026, published on September 14.
“To suspend Ruslan Andriyovych Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General,” the decree states.
The document was issued in accordance with Part Two of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law”.
Earlier on September 14, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced that he had signed a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos.
After that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the Verkhovna Rada to immediately support Kravchenko’s dismissal.
The Anti-Corruption Action Center said that Kravchenko had left Ukraine. He explained that he was abroad on an official trip.
It later became known that Kravchenko went on a five-day official trip to Paris. The stated purpose of the trip was to participate in a hearing of the PACE parliamentary network.
