Zelenskyy signed decrees on official appointments to the Presidential Administration and the State Duma

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially appointed Kyrylo Budanov as Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and Oleg Ivashchenko as Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The relevant decrees are dated January 2. According to them, Kyrylo Budanov was dismissed from the post of head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and officially appointed head of the President’s Office . Oleh Ivashchenko was dismissed from the post of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and appointed head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Personnel decisions came into effect from the moment the decrees were signed.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Kirill Budanov and offered him the position of head of the Office of the President.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko.
