Zelenskyy signed laws extending martial law

In Ukraine, martial law and general mobilization have been extended for another 90 days – until May 4.
On Monday, January 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws by which the Verkhovna Rada had previously supported another extension of martial law and mobilization.
Law of Ukraine No. 4757 of January 14, 2026 on approval of the presidential decree on the extension of martial law shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
Law No. 4758 on approving the presidential decree on extending the period of general mobilization comes into force on February 3, 2026.
We will remind you that the Verkhovna Rada voted for the relevant decisions on January 14.
