Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, January 22, where he will meet with American leader Donald Trump.
This was reported by the Axios publication.
Zelensky will meet with Trump before US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner travel to Moscow for talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
It is known that both meetings will be aimed at discussing the American “peace plan” to end the war in Ukraine.
Separately, it is noted that Trump did not want to sign an agreement on the prosperity of Ukraine this week during the World Economic Forum, because Putin has not yet accepted the “peace plan.”
Recall that during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump announced that he plans to meet with the President of Ukraine .
Trump previously accused the Ukrainian authorities of lacking gratitude for his efforts to end the war.
