Zelenskyy warned of possible attacks on Christmas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Ukrainians to be especially vigilant over Christmas due to the threat of possible massive shelling from Russia. According to him, protection from strikes was the main topic of the Stavka meeting.

The head of state said that the Russian army may try to strike during the holidays. He emphasized that such tactics correspond to the enemy’s style of action.

Zelensky noted that during the Stavka, the first issue was the protection of Ukrainian cities, villages, and communities. Particular attention was paid to the work of air defense during the period of December 23, 24, and 25.

The President also announced that the military has already received the necessary tasks, and urged citizens to pay attention to alarm signals and not ignore the danger.

As previously reported, on December 22, the Russian occupation army attacked energy system facilities in several Ukrainian regions.

Recall that against the backdrop of Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy, the German government announced the allocation of additional funds to protect infrastructure.
