The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called the conditions under which Belarus can join Russia in the war against Ukraine. This will allegedly happen only when there is a direct threat against the country.

Alexander Lukashenko told this to the Belarusian state publication.

“And there is only one way to get us involved in the war: if aggression starts against us, if they start fighting against us. So I keep my ear sharp. As I read this, I call out to the military, “Report what’s going on in the Northwest, what’s going on in the West? Do we all see? Did we all mobilize? How does intelligence work? ” – Lukashenko stated.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. A number of Ukrainian cities were hit by missiles, and military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were attacked.

Martial law has been imposed in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a general mobilization.
