Russia has already forgotten about «denazification»: the Kremlin has changed the «goal» of the war in Ukraine

After the complete failure of the offensive operation in Ukraine, Russia, which launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, said it would focus its efforts on the complete liberation of Donbass.
This is discussed in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, according to Russian media.
«The combat potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been significantly reduced, which makes it possible to focus the main efforts on achieving the main goal — the liberation of Donbass,» the occupiers said.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry stated that it did not plan to storm them (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Mykolayiv, ed.) in order to prevent destruction and minimize casualties among personnel and civilians. However, Russia has so far said it does not rule out an attack on Ukrainian cities.
«Although we do not rule out such a possibility, as individual groups fulfill their tasks, and they are solved successfully, our efforts and resources will be focused on the main thing — the complete liberation of Donbass,» — said the occupiers.
It should be noted that a month ago, when the Russian Federation launched an invasion of Ukraine and Moscow was certain of a speedy end to the war, Russian propagandists announced significantly ambitious goals. In particular, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia aims to «demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.»
«Ideally, Ukraine should be liberated and cleansed of pro-Nazi people», Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov said when asked to explain what was meant by denazification.
