Russia has been expelled from the European Film Support Fund Eurimages

Russia has ceased to be a member of the European Fund for the Co-production and Distribution of Creative Cinematographic and Audiovisual Works Eurimages. The relevant resolution was published on March 23 on the website of the Council of Europe.

This was reported in the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema

According to the report, the Russian Federation was expelled in accordance with the resolution of the Council of Europe of March 23, 2022 on the legal and financial consequences of the termination of Russia’s membership in the Council of Europe, adopted on March 16, 2022.
