Russian invaders shell Rubizhne and Severodonetsk, Luhansk region: 5 people killed

During the previous day, 5 people were killed and 8 injured in the Luhansk region. All through the night, Russian forces were damaging residential areas and killed at least two people.

It was reported by Luhansk Region governor Serhii Haidai.

“During the night, Russian forces were damaging residential areas, two people were killed. The number of casualties can be even bigger, as emergency services started their work later in some places due to ongoing fire and constant shelling. The Russians continue their attempts to occupy the city, doing everything and killing civilians… According to the preliminary information, three houses got into the fire due to shell explosions in the center of Rubizhne the previous night. The Russian army continues to shell this district”, he says.

It is known, that 5 people were killed and 8 injured during the last day in Severodonetsk, Rubizhne and Lysychansk, 18 people were rescued as well.

There are 32 damaged objects including 7 apartment houses, 9 private houses, a school and a cinema in Severodonetsk, household buildings, garages and infrastructure.

Haidai also highlights that there is a lack of firefighters both in the region and the whole country for such a significant number of simultaneous emergency cases.
