Russian military relocates reinforcement in Belarus and to the Sea of Azov: operative information from General Staff

Probability of involvement of Armed Forces of Belarus into aggression against Ukraine is estimated to be high. Russian military is relocating new forces in Belarus, which is used as the ground for offensive actions, and ships in the Sea of Azov. Simultaneously, AFU keep the defense on the all directions of aggression.

It goes in operative information from General Staff as of 12:00 a.m. on 25th of March, 2022.

The enemy wasn’t successful in achieving the main goals – the blockade of Kyiv and access to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Particularly, aggressor succeeded in creating overland corridor between temporarily occupied AR Crimea and a part of Donetsk oblast.

Measures to replenish the losses of the occupying forces continue by formation and departure consolidated units from the 37th SGMRB (Kyakhta), the 5th STB (Ulan-Ude) of the 36th Army, the 38th SGMRB (Ekaterinoslavka) of the 35th Army, the 40th Separate Marine Brigade (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) Pacific Fleet of the Russian Armed Forces.

The opponent hasn`t conducted actions in the Volyn direction. Probability of involvement of Armed Forces of Belarus into aggression against Ukraine is estimated to be high. Hostile hasn`t conducted actions in the Polissya. He concentrates efforts on shelling positions of the AF of Ukraine in the area of settlements Nova Buda, Nalyvaykivka, Ozershchyna. The enemy is carrying out the movement of units, logistics, trying to gain a foothold on the captured frontiers. The rear area (field camp) of the Eastern Military District troops has been deployed in the Chornobyl area. The occupying forces are going on holding earlier captured frontiers in the Siversky direction, trying to increase groupings and block Chernihiv. They don`t stop shelling infrastructure of the city. Air reconnaissance is lasting with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. The enemy spread the propaganda leaflets on purpose of decreasing the level of resistance by the civilian population.

Advancing in the direction of Brovary wasn’t succeeded, occupiers were immediately stopped, get on with defense and try to hold on to the positions held. In the Slobozhansky direction the enemy tries to hold the positions on the outskirts of Sumy and Kharkiv, restores losses in machinery and manpower. Doesn’t stop to use aircraft and artillery to destroy residential areas of cities.

In the area of the city of Izyum, the enemy made an attempt to break through the defenses of our troops from the south, in the area of Kamyanka, was stopped in the area of Tykhotsky. The wedged enemy continues to be destroyed. In the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues to recover losses, regroup units with the simultaneous use of artillery and aircraft fire on the infrastructure of peaceful cities. He does not give up the idea of entering the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In the Tavriya direction, in the temporarily occupied territories, the occupier is trying to establish his “power”, in particular by units of the Rosguard. Measures were taken to insulate the Kherson railway station.

The enemy is increasing the naval fleet in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The passage of the Kerch Strait in the northern direction of the small minesweeper “Valentin Pikul”, the missile boat “Naberezhnye Chelny” and two landing craft was recorded.
