Russians have killed 153 children during the invasion

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian occupational troops have killed at least 153 children, and 245 more injured.

This is reported by the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

“Almost 400 children have suffered in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian armed aggression. Among them 153 have died 245 more were injured”, the department concluded.
According to the Chief Prosecutor Office, the most children have suffered in the Kyiv region – 73, Donetsk region – 65, Kharkiv region – 53, Chernihiv region – 43, Mykolaiv region – 30, Luhansk region – 31, Zaporizhia region – 22, Kherson region – 29, Sumy region – 16, Zhytomyr Region – 15, and in Kyiv city – 16.

The Chief Prosecutor’s Office emphasized that the data are not final, as the information on children affected in the places of active hostilities and areas temporarily occupied by the enemy is being updated. In particular, in the city of Mariupol, in certain territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Luhansk regions.

It is noted that on March 31, a 2-year-old girl from Lysychansk Luhansk oblast died from serious injuries, who, together with her 7-year-old brother, had been seriously injured the previous day. On the same day, in the Donetsk region, 5 minors were taken to a medical institution who were injured by shelling.

Moreover, according to the Chief Prosecutor’s Office, 859 educational institutions were damaged as a result of bombing and shelling in Ukraine, 83 of them were completely destroyed. The worst situation is in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions, and Kyiv.
