The Russians shelled the residential areas of Lysychansk: there are victims

On March 30, the Russian occupiers shelled Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. The fire was opened in residential areas of one of the districts at about 6:30 with heavy weapons.

This was announced on Telegram by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai.

“At about 6:30 a.m., an enemy opened fire with heavy weapons on residential areas in one of the Lysychansk districts. There is significant damage to high-rise buildings. Information on the number of dead and wounded is being clarified. There are a lot of blockages. Rescuers are trying to save the living» Gaidai wrote.

He also said that during the night in the Luhansk region, rescuers got 6 people alive from the rubble and fire. The occupiers shelled Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Kreminna and Zolote.

“With relative warming, another problem has arisen – after the shells burst, forests and grass catch fire. Only last night the corresponding fires broke out in Kreminna, Tsarivka, Aidar-Mykolayivka, Zoloto-1 and Lysychansk” the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration noted.

He also noted that yesterday, March 29, an enemy shell hit the main high-pressure gas pipeline with a diameter of 400 mm in Lysychansk, Luhansk region. At the same time, they will try to restore the gas pipeline in Lysychansk today.

“35,000 people of Lysychansk, Privillya, Novodruzhesk, Belogorivka, Zolotarivka, Shipylivka were left without gas supply. The gas workers of the Lysychansk Interdistrict Department for the Operation of the Gas Industry will begin restoration work this morning,” Gaidai said.
