The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 9 Russian attacks in a single day and destroyed 200 occupiers – General Staff of Ukraine reports

During the previous day, Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 9 enemy attacks, destroying their equipment and 200 occupants.

This was reported by the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Staff.

“Today is the beginning of day 30 of heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion. Defense Forces groups continue to conduct a defense operation in the East, Southeast and Northeast directions”, says the message.

In particular, the combined forces group conducts a steady defense operation on the Donetsk, Slobozhansk and part of the Taurida directions in a designated operational zone, focusing its main efforts on preventing the enemy from breaking through.

“Yes, during the previous day, our soldiers repelled 9 enemy attacks, destroyed 12 tanks, about 20 units of armored and motorized equipment, and 9 artillery systems. The enemy lost more than 200 soldiers. Air defense units shot down 2 planes and 2 UAVs. During the previous day, Air Force of Ukraine groups have struck 6 air targets of the enemy: 1 aircraft, 1 UAV and 4 cruise missiles. Air Forces carried out air space patrols, fighter cover of troops and objects, strike aviation carried out attacks on armored vehicle columns, logistics centers and enemy troop groupings”, – the General Staff added.

In a meantime, in Volyn region, defense force are primarily focused on protecting the state border.

As for Severia, the defense operation continues. Military divisions keep the city of Chernihiv and hold back the enemy’s advance towards Kyiv.

At the same time, military divisions alongside Kyiv defense installations continue to repel the enemy’s offensive, inflicting damage on them and maintaining all defined defense lines.

In the South, defense operation in a designated operational zone is continued, stabilization operation is carried out, and territorial defense tasks are performed.

Russian terrorist troops continue to conduct hostilities, deliberately violating the norms of international humanitarian law and the rules of war.
