There isn’t any consensus with Russia about four paragraphs mentioned by the president of Turkey, in particular about NATO and Russian language. In general, the classification of key topics of negotiations into four or another amount of paragraphs is incorrect, because subunits of delegations discuss lots of different issues simultaneously.

This was stated in a comment to ‘UP’ by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

‘It’s important to estimate objectively the situation. There isn’t any consensus with Russia about four paragraphs mentioned by the president of Turkey. In particular, Ukrainian is and will be the only one state language in Ukraine. In general, the classification of key topics of negotiations into four or another amount of paragraphs is incorrect. Subunits of delegations discuss lots of different issues simultaneously’ – mentioned Kuleba.

According to his speech, negotiations are advancing difficult. ‘Ukrainian delegation took a strong position and does not refuse its requirements. First of all, we insist on cease-fire, guarantees of security and territorial integrity of Ukraine’, – stated the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Simultaneously, Kuleba thanked the Turkish side and the president Erdogan for political and humanitarian assistance and also for diplomatic efforts to end the Russian war against Ukraine.
‘Ukraine will continue the dialogue with Turkey and all other stakeholders, in order to restore peace on the Ukrainian territory. We hope that Turkey will also continue support on all tracks, as friend and strategic partner of Ukraine’, – stated government official.

Kuleba also reminded that establishment of new sanctions against Russia and strengthening defense capabilities of Ukraine is not less important factors to ‘stop Russiam military machinery and achieve desired progress in the negotiations’. ‘This tripartite strategy – sanctions, military support, negotiations – mustn’t be questioned by anyone’, – summarized Kuleba.
