Ukrainian UN permanent representative: occupiers forcibly moved to Russia already more than 500 thousand Ukrainians

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian occupational forces have forcibly moved more than half a million Ukrainians to Russia, including more than 120,000 children.

according to Ukrinform, this was stated by the Ukrainian UN permanent representative Serhii Kyslytsia during his speech at the meeting of the UN Security Council.

He reminded us that Russia keeps thousands of Ukrainians in filtration camps on the outskirts of Mariupol. According to his words, at least 20 thousand Ukrainians are held in filtration camps on the Mangush – Nikolskoye – Yalta line and about 5–7 thousand – in the Bezimenne village of Donetsk region.

Kyslytsia stressed that citizens of Ukraine are sent to underdeveloped regions of Russia, in particular to the northern regions and the island of Sakhalin, while they are issued documents that prohibit them from leaving the Russian regions for two years.

The diplomat stressed that such actions of the Russian occupiers can be qualified as kidnapping and require a decisive response from the international community, primarily the relevant UN structures.

According to him, more than 500 thousand Ukrainians, including 121 thousand children, have been moved to Russia.

“Whenever it seems that we are already accustomed to the shameful methods of the Russian war, fresh news from Mariupol and dozens of other hot spots prove that Russians are capable of reaching new heights”, he said.

We note that the “Azovstal” Mariupol steelworks factory is bombed out and nearly destroyed. “Superheavy bombs” are dropped there, and many people remain buried in the rubble.

By the way, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, more than 150 thousand Ukrainian children were illegally taken from the territory of Ukraine to Russia. Currently, there is also a threat of illegal adoption of Ukrainian children by Russian citizens.

Note that the Azov regiment considers the Mariupol deblock possible. At the same time, they are waiting for the corresponding decisive actions from the military and political leadership of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian occupational force, which launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine a month ago, uses children as a human shield when moving columns of equipment.
