The Earth has entered a period of increased geomagnetic activity. On June 26, scientists recorded a weak magnetic storm of the G1 level. According to experts, the disturbances may persist for some time, but the situation should gradually stabilize.

This was reported by the British Geological Survey.

Experts explain that the cause of the phenomenon was the activity of the Sun: the state of the magnetic field was affected by a coronal hole and an ejection of solar plasma, which caused an increase in the flow of the solar wind.

Currently, the speed of the solar wind remains high — about 650 km/s. It is this factor that maintains the current level of geomagnetic oscillations, although their gradual decrease is expected in the near future.

Although the storm is the lowest level on the five-point scale, it can be felt by some people. During periods of solar activity, some people complain of fatigue, headaches, sleep problems, emotional tension, or changes in blood pressure.

Experts advise not to overload the body on such days, to rest more, to maintain a normal drinking regimen and to pay attention to sleep. Walking in the fresh air and moderate physical activity can also help.
